Detecting coordinates of tread groove and peak on tires
The client is one of the oldest tire manufacturers in the world. He is preparing a quality improvement for some of his production lines and establishes a fully automatic process. One of the corresponding tasks refers to the preproduction phase, in which an inspection of the depth of the tread grooves, the height of the adjacent peaks and their lateral distance to certain reference lines of the rubber layers takes place. The quality of the products until now was dependent on manual inspections of workers.
